magSend How To's

Simply follow these step-by-step procedures online:

1 - Prepare a new ad

  • Visit www.magsend.com and click SEND DIGITAL AD.
  • Log in to your account. On the top menu bar, click
    PREPARE A NEW AD.
  • Select the publication title, the ad size and issue, then
    provide optional info to help track your ad. Submit
    the ad definition.
  • View the Quality Checklist for helpful guidelines to prepare your ad.
  • Prepare your ad using your preferred software, saving as either a
    PostScript or PDF file.

2 - Send us the goods

  • Click BROWSE to navigate to the PostScript or press-optimized PDF
    of your ad. Locate the file and click SEND THE FILE NOW.

3 - Fine tune with QuickFit™.

  • You can crop, scale, and/or float your ad in the reserved ad space,
    align your ad and zoom in for a closer look – without compromising
    quality.
  • Click VIEW PREFLIGHT REPORT (at the right side of the screen) within
    minutes of sending your ad to check for alerts; then click CREATE
    SOFT PROOF to proceed

4 - View your Soft Proof.

  • If you’re happy with your ad, approve the soft proof and we will
    make hard proofs (if requested) and release the high resolution,
    trapped digital ad file.
  • If you’re unhappy – for any reason – it’s no problem! Just resubmit
    your ad file until you are completely satisfied. It’s that simple!

Now Relax! Your press-ready file will be delivered to the publisher in their
desired format.

Please note: You do not have to finish your ad in one session. You may
close your browser at any time and return to your ad in-progress by logging
back in and clicking VIEW EXISTING ADS.
